Wtf???  This move is absolutely mind boggling.  Sanchez looked leaps and bounds better than Worley throughout the preseason.  He made several plays throughout the preseason, including Thursday night by coming up and making a big TFL on a much bigger back.  Only bad play i remember him making one big mistake and it was the blown coverage against TEN.  Worley was systematically abused.

Unless GMan sees a vet out there that he knows is going to be instantly better and they're ready to come in immediately, this makes absolutely zero sense.  And we wasted a draft pick...  but we dont draft according to need, right?  LOL.

I also dont see him clearing waivers.

I'd rather them admit the mistake now and move on vs letting a more deserving player go because to let their pride get in the way.

We all know the draft is a crap shoot outside of the first 3 rounds. Plus their may have been some things behind the scenes we don't know about.

If you told me this morning one of the The Amigos were getting cut today...

I would have felt save taking a huge chunk of money and putting it on Worley.

A lower around pick getting cut from an already good team is not as shocking an event as some folks are making it sound.

This is far from unprecedented in the NFL.

Our last 5th round DB drafted looked like poo for years.  Now he is the highest paid DB in the NFL.

I'm surprised is all they didn't at least keep him for a season to see what he had.  Unless practice was extremely different and it wasn't reported as in camp...he looked better than Worley is all we saw.

wonder if there were some non-talent issues at play
