I'm okay with this. Bersin has made some really good plays over the years. I was never a Byrd vs. Bersin guy. Both add to our team.

I never thought Byrd would get cut. With the way he has played in T/C and the preseason he has earned a spot. I feel the plan for him is to replace Ted Ginn by next season.

All of the cut decisions have probably been made, but they probably want to tell the players themselves first before announcing it to the public.  At least I would think so anyway.

Or, as DG has mentioned, there's a few more guys that may have required "talking out" with the coaches, as they were players the staff didn't want to see picked up by other teams. That's a possibility too.

My biggest surprise is probably Norris.

I really liked the way he played, but I thought there were too many ahead of him.

I'm glad he is a Panther though! Says a lot about talent evaluation that two UDFA rookies made our team at linebacker.
