I think it was a pretty stupid move on their part.  You really want your specialists selling out their bodies in the preseason?  Oh well, their loss, our gain.

Meh. We're talking about a Pro Bowl caliber punter. I could see how that could send a bad message in theory to the rookies, but the vets should know better. If the rookies hotdog it and fail to sieze their opportunity, they don't have a clue and should be cut. Vets know the deal.

Hue is known to be just slightly emotional from time to time.

They didn't really cut Lee for lack of overall performance. It had more to do with HJax making a statement to the organization when Lee hotdoged on the tackle "attempt." That, and money. 

If there's some regret, it probably happened Thursday night.
