two words: compensation picks. We don't make this deal for Lee without the looming third we're getting for Norman

Only thing is that the third comp pick for Norman is next year's draft, while at the moment we don't have a 4th in '18.  I'd bet that changes though.

Yet Mike R. Is still our RT

And rookie CBs will start. How about them bones? I guess a rookie punter is more alarming than rookie CBs for Gettleman.

We needed a punter..

We also need OTs, a back up TE, DEs, and CBs. Punter is more important to the front office.

That makes it even worse. Are you valuing Lee at the same level as Norman?

He had flashbacks to 2014 like I did after watching return men have 20 yards to set up blocks. There are multiple 30 year old punters in the

People worried about the rookie corners were just shrugging at the single biggest weakness on this team. I'd give up a 4th to fix it.

do you know how compensation picks work? of course Norman is worth more than a 3rd rounder- that's our consolation prize for losing him

In Gettlemen we trust but man I wish he would throw the oline a bone.

I haven't seen any options to seriously upgrade, that Gettleman has passed on.

I happen to like Remmers.  I don't know what others expect out of right tackles, but Remmers does pretty good, and is one of the better right tackles the Panthers have had. He's improved since arriving, and he's holding off quality competition.

Plenty to like.

It was a necessary move. I was legitimately getting pissed at the thought of trotting out a scrub punter this season. Any Panthers fan that has been through the ringer over the years knows what it's like to have to hold your breath when our special teams were on the field.

I still hold my breath....
