because Byrd is the difference between us winning 51 or not?

Who ever would've thought Corey Brown would be the leading receiver on a team in the Super Bowl? Who ever would've thought Malcolm Butler would be the difference between Tom winning 49 or not? Who ever would've thought David Tyree could slay the Pats perfect season? Byrd very well could be the difference man.

Damiere is probably making the roster. He's too valuable as Ted Ginn insurance. We sure as hell don't need Bersin back there fielding punts again.

Didn't he drop a punt in the first preseason game at the end?

I am going to make a bold prediction.....I see the Panthers bringing in DE Quinton Coples. Despite the fact that he is from my hometown, despite the fact we attended the same high school, despite the fact that we were teammates until his Senior year when he left Kinston High School and went to Hargrave Military Academy, Despite the fact that his mom was my bus driver in high school, this prediction is based solely off of the fact that the stars seem to be aligning. Ted GInn, Mike Mitchell, Micheal Oher, Kurt Coleman, Charles Tillman, Cortland Finnegan, Jared Allen, Ed Dickson, Jerricho Cotchery, and Stephen Hill. Quinton Coples falls into this category. Considered to be a veteran, not very pricey, over looked because of past statistics, situations, and can fill a need at a bargain price. I believe what messed his career up was going from a 4-3 DE in college to a 3-4 with Rex Ryan. Those are valuable years lost as it relates to learning your trade, because he could not just peel his ears back and worry about disrupting the line of scrimmage from a DE spot. I think I see this happening. We shopping at Tiffany's not Armani's
