Before any knee jerk "let's sign him " reaction, what the heck happened to this guy? I remember coming out of college a lot of people wanted is to draft him and swore he was the next Peppers. 

 

Now, is he worse than Delaire?

Also, it was Robert Quinn who drew the Peppers comparisons, not Coples. Quinn has 50 sacks in four and a half seasons.

I actually wanted one of these four: Brockers, Poe, Cox, or Gilmore. Ironically, those were the exact four guys to go off the board after we took Luke. That'll never happen again.

If i remember correctly Ron Rivera sating something to the effect of "if we draft him, we would use him as a 3 tech." I wanted Fletcher Cox. Glad we got Luke.

He was way overhyped to begin with. Worse than Delaire? Probably not, but probably not much better if at all.

Delaire just looks too small to be playing DE. Competions brings out the best in everybody.
