We have traded for Andy Lee from the Browns

What was the harm in waiting? I'm sure the Browns would have jumped on a 4th round pick for their punter next week too.

Sometimes being a fan sucks, I know. But the harm is that there probably were other teams that could be interested. I would guess a 4th was needed to get the Browns to pull the trigger & to outbid anyone else. Getting a pro bowl punter plus a 7th was a Gettleman move.

My Browns fan friends are telling me this dude is really good he was just in Jasckson's doghouse.

If Hue Jackson expects the Browns to react this way every time a player is in his doghouse, I am more than glad that Hue is not associated with the Panthers in any way. Wow.

Relax. Is it a bad move? For 28 teams in the league it is. But we are one of maybe four legit Super Bowl contenders. We are going for it. Do I love it? No. Do I get it? Of course.

Agree with this. We have one of the best, if not THE best, starting 22s in the league. Imagine if a punter effed that up!!!  Take my 4th....

We were better off keeping Nortman them giving away a fourth... People laugh at the Bucs for drafting a kicker in the second, this is almost as bad

Nope, Nortman would out kick his coverage too often. Ever wonder why we kept giving up td's on special teams? Think Nortman.

go back and watch the 2013 niners playoff game.... Lee certainly helped win the 49ers field position. Hes now on our team. No need to worry about his age either, 34-36 is still perfectly fine for Punters, this guy has 12 years of NFL experience and was good enough to warrant a 7 year contract.
