RIP Gene Wilder

Willy Wonka just encapsulates so much of my childhood.

That movie/novel is so deep and the film was so effective. But i can remember playing ball or being out with kids and at some point we took off on our bikes to go home and how cool it was to watch. It was shown about the same time each year and for some reason the Fall stands out.

Totally forgot about Letter Man and i didn’t know Gene did the voice.

If you're in Charlotte this weekend, AMC Theaters will be putting Blazing Saddles and Willy Wonka on the big screen in honor of Gene Wilder. AMC Concord Mills it says.

My fam and i went. So different on the big screen but it was so cool hearing people laugh at funny moments to a movie i have only seen with a handful of people on tv.

Major applause when it ended.

Very dusty in the theater.
