Now that I am turning 40 and I am officially over the hill, I am going on a 4000-mile-pilgrimage to BoAS. I'll be there for the Vikings game on 9/25. For most of the trip I will be staying with family in Raleigh but will be in Charlotte from saturday to sunday of that week. Any Charlotte natives that can give me tips on what not to miss with a day to kill in Charlotte or perhaps something I definitely shouldnt do?

4,000 miles? So do you live in Europe or some small remote island between California and Hawaii?

we've had folks tailgate with us from Africa, England, Japan, Germany, a giant collection from Canada every year, and even North Dakota. I'm thinking someone from the Netherlands came once, but I'm a little fuzzy on that one.

Tailgating is definitely on my list, and I know it's one of the things my relatives really wanted me to experience ;)

If you don't have an option yet, or are still looking for one, send me a PM, we are Roaring Riot members, would be happy to invite you as a guest. Is it just you or a group? If a group, we also have a seperate tailgate, and guests are always welcome, just only allowed one guest for Riot tailgates.

Price's Chicken Coop for lunch

DO NOT MISS

That place is liiterally about the worst fried chicken I've ever had. Then comes the diarrhea.

I was in Sweden for 2 weeks up until last week. Even the McDonalds there is good with quality ingredients.  Prices would tear a Swedish digestive track to shreds.

Thats because your Swedish or wherever you said youre from and like the taste of raw garbage for food. lol

I'm from Winston Salem. Every few years of the 10 I lived in Charlotte I would try it again and every time it was terrible. It's literally disgustingly bad.
