Going on pilgrimage...

Now that I am turning 40 and I am officially over the hill, I am going on a 4000-mile-pilgrimage to BoAS. I'll be there for the Vikings game on 9/25. For most of the trip I will be staying with family in Raleigh but will be in Charlotte from saturday to sunday of that week. Any Charlotte natives that can give me tips on what not to miss with a day to kill in Charlotte or perhaps something I definitely shouldnt do?

Drink some good beer somewhere like NoDa Brewing, Olde Meck Brewery, Wooden Robot, etc

Thank you! That is exactly the kind of tips I'm looking for! When I get together with that part of my family vetting local breweries is a large part of our socialising ;)

Been to NC before, just not to Charlotte to see the panthers. Its plenty hot but we'll survival ;)
