Dare I say it... I think I miss Dan Henning?

Does anyone notice a trend here? Dan Henning leaves and the offense in Miami is so much better with him. Mike Trgovac leaves and the defense in Green Bay is so much better.

MASTER! MASTER! Master of puppets are pulling your strings...

Rep for the Metallica reference but Dom Capers is the DC in Green Bay and I was less than impressed with their performance yesterday against Stinksonasty.

Remember our defensive line in 2002 under Trgo as a line coach? I believe we lead the league in sacks that year. He is a great defensive line coach. He was only promoted to DC because Fox knew he could control him to do what he wanted. He may be a good DC for another team one day when he doenst have a coach like Fox interfering. One thing is for sure....he is a hell of alot better than Ron fugin Meeks. What a dumb hiring that was! Absolutely DUMB! Fox is just begging to be fired this year. I cant wait til he gets his wish.

Fox controls the defense 100% I believe, but for the offense I don't think so. I believe Fox may tell Davidson what type of plays he'd like, but then Davidson calls the specific plays. Not Fox.

Henning better than Davidson? During Davidson's first year, our play calls were much better till we had to over compensate for the malcontents Carr and Testaverde. But then last year we end up with the best rushing offense in the league along with the best offensive line. Smith still got over 1,000 and Muhsin almost did too. I believe Meeks is being controlled by Fox, but not Davidson fully.

i'm watching these 3 RB packages that Miami is running and salivating at the thought of Williams Stewart and Goodson in the backfield at once.

That's too "outside of the box" for John Fox (fresh!), even though it's not even outside of the box anymore. John is just one of those between the tackles, smashmouth guys and good defense. That strategy is not a bad one, mind you... but you have to be open-minded
