The db rookies have not played enough league football yet for that notion.. The rookie dbs are just that rookies.. Cornerbacks have to build confidence to be successful..

Development produces failure. Success leads to confidence. What bridges the two is a belief in ones self that leads to self efficacy.

Confidence does not lead to success. Confidence is a product of success.

That bridge of self efficacy between failure and confidence is what Bradberry, Worley and Bene are all missing. Thankfully Coleman, Boston, and McClain have high levels of self efficacy even though they lack the talent of the other three. Not quite sure about Sanchez.

OL depth, backup DEs, rookie CBs, punter, sb hangover and injuries to key players. Like right now if Coleman gos down, who's next up, same for cj.

Still compared to other teams, overall panthers have less concerns than just about anyone.

You have to have self CONFIDENCE that you will be SUCCESSFUL when you preform.. I passed philosophy already I won't backtrack.. Bradberry is a fundamentally sound athletic CB working on processing at nfl speed he came from a small school. Worley needs to relax a bit and play a little more under control and react instead of trying to guess he's forcing it.. Bene lacks confidence in the outside for some reason and needs to improve his jam.. I think Sanchez is a sleeper right now and is a little more ready then we think (in the nickel of course).. I'm just concerned with Boston in the open field & McClain is aggressive with all the tools just over looked for obvious reasons.. IMO

What are you preforming? The Panthers coaches need to preform their game plans better. They may have been the biggest failure against the Patriots.

Passing is a good thing. Always gets a person by in life. The Panthers need to get their passing game going. The front office seems to think receivers who catch 50% or less of their targets is a good weapon to have in a game with a QB who sails the ball when forced to throw from the pocket. Maybe they will fix this receiver issue after a few more seasons of the dropsies and overthrows. Until then I hope the Panthers can keep leaning on Cam, Stewart, Tolbert, and Kalil.

I'm worried about Cam. I still say they gave up on Clausen too fast. Clausen would have made them passes

Clausen was never meant to be a starter. He was drafted to be a back up and will be a career back up for his entire career. Cam Newton was brought in because Matt Moore got injured and struggled as Delhomme's replacement. So, the Panthers decided to let Moore go into free agency when they knew they had Cam Newton to draft. If the Panthers never drafted Cam, Clausen would have still been sitting the bench behind Matt Moore who would have received a new contract.

Matt Moore is the QB the Panthers gave up on too early.

You don't gameplan for preseason you run a vanilla offense and defense. The point of preseason is to evaluate talent and straighten kinks out so the coaches weren't doing much preforming I'd say there's no such thing as failure in preseason.. Now I'm sure that MVP QB you're referring to will figure out how to PERFORM better come game opener and we were throwing so much to begin with because we're trying to get KB past the mental block that comes from recovering a torn acl and continuing to build FunFuns lol confidence as the elite wr he's destine to be.. We all know about teddy Gs random brick hand moments but the upside is way worth it says his 10 tds last year not to mention how much attention Olsen attracts when on the field.. Philly b is known to leave dudes lost and doing break dance moves in coverage elite dudes like talib from Denver.. You're right I hope as well that the Panthers can continue to lean on their FRANCHISE MVP QUARTBACK for the next decade.. I sure do hope we can improve these issues we have at wr.. Hmm
