This will be Brady's only gameplay until week 5 of the regular season. The Patriots are playing this like it's a regular season game that Brady's playing in, and did when Jimmy was in as well. We're playing a preseason game. This same thing has happened the last two years when playing the Pats in the 3rd preseason game. Most of this means absolutely nothing. Certain players' play is definitely meaningful but the team's success absolutely is not.

They aren't playing like this is a regular season game....Brady is playing against a base defense with no strategy. If he didn't pick it apart then there would be issues.

Cam....well Cam can't run right now otherwise he would have more rushing than passing yards.

1) Ginn needs to go back to being a one trick pony and stop running routes where the degree of difficulty is anything more than a ball straight into his hands.

2) Cam needs to stop trying to get Kelvin involved. He'll earn his targets just like every other receiver, when he's actually open.

3) Run the goddamn ball. We are a running team first and foremost. So run it. I don't care if there's 12 in the box, run the goddamn ball.

We keep those three things in mind and we'll be fine.

Brady didn't make the Panthers offense look bad. If anything, our defense did okay-ish considering the lack of gameplanning. Any other night and they would've had two interceptions.

Personally, I'm not that concerned about the score. It's the little things, sailing balls high, dropping passes and penalty after penalty that is the problem. I may love this team but execution was poor tonight and Ron needs to let them know the team that preseason or now, there is no excuse for not doing the basic things right.

Not anymore

Later half of the season to the SB, this offense changed. Run game only works if Cam is a threat to keep it. Power runs get stopped immediately, absolutely no holes open

Also, I wonder how much veteran dependability will be missed with our WR's. Cotchery was a dependable veteran receiver for the most part. Ginn is a veteran, but he's not dependable. Everybody else that we have are young
