Definitely lucky, although it did look worse. It says no ligament damage, but that doctors will determine the damage during the scope. Probably nothing and just a few weeks, but just a weird injury where he's out 3-4 weeks and needs a scope to clean stuff up. Did he have previous knee issues in college? Just seems weird to need a scope to clean up damage without first having a bigger injury/damage from before.

Agreed, it sounds odd. Also, we play ATL in week 4. Very good chance he doesn't play and if he does, it will be his first game as a rookie.

and there's more Falcons news...they are waaaaayyyy down on their team after last night's game.    Remember their first round pick Vic Beasley?  8th pick overall in the 2015 draft?

Here's what they are saying.

I do realize this will be the "n"th post regarding Beasley by the time I post this, but this guy is seriously pitiful and I really do pity him because he looks like a lost child out on the NFL field.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, this kid, which is exactly what he is, does not belong in this league. He looks and plays like a scared teenager who is totally overwhelmed, gets visibly frustrated, worn out and ends up looking broken by the end of it.

He has no motor whatsoever and is visibly drained after every single play in which he's accomplished nothing other than running straight into a tackle and getting man-handled.

Watching his "spin" move makes me physically nauseous and I cannot believe the coaches can stomach watching it either.
