Im pretty sure DG has brought in a vet CB arounf the end of the preseason every year he has been here. I expect him to pick up somebody to help the rooks

Tillman tore his ACL in week 16 and he's 35. He can barely run right now. It took KB nearly a full year to fully practice again and he's still working on conditioning.

This is what I'm thinking as well.
McClain played fine when we brought him in last year, not shut down but made plenty of nice plays on the ball.
If Worley isn't ready, McClain is serviceable against less non-allstar wide-outs.

Since everyone is talking about Tillman I figured I would let whoever is in the dark know that Peanut Tillman came by practice this week to teach our rookies. Great idea whoever thought of it. I hope all of our rookie corners can learn the peanut punch.

The Worley thing is pretty hilarious, he gave up like 70 yards to a QB-WR combo that will probably be really good this year. He never got burnt deep, or really even badly. He just got outplayed at the ball a few times (mostly in a row) then immediately made the stop. If that's him getting roasted then he's an amazing corner.

Didn't care either way but for anyone who wanted to sign him for depth you can forget about it. Apparently the Steelers didn't like what they saw when examining Lewis's hip. Looks like another boykins situation

If that happens, I'd prefer it be a healthy veteran corner.
