And as others have pointed out, these don't go through the team.

Norman is full of s--t on that point.

You sound upset.... at the end of the day I'm just a fan just like you. You don't know anymore than I do what influence organizations have on there players or what's said behind closed doors. And you normally don't here this stuff anyway until players are not on the team anymore and they can speak out. Whether he is right or lying nobody knows on this forum.

I have no emotion invested in Norman at all.  I just know bulls--t when I hear it.

If a team actually tried to prevent players from getting endorsement deals, the NFLPA would be all over that.

I'm pretty sure if there were endorsement deals he wasn't informed of, it was likely the fault of his agent who also didn't inform him of the failing negotiations and who he fired immediately afterward. He hired his buddy who had never represented an NFL player before and then blames the front office for not bypassing his agent to directly tell him things.

Norman better hope he balls out this year. With all the money he's getting and all the talking he's doing, the first time he gets torched people are going to be all over him. The only thing the media and fans love more than building someone up is tearing them down.

Also, it would be interesting to see these sponsorship deals he didn't even know about...back that up, or you're probably full of sh!t.

Can the team actually stop a player from doing endorsement deals?  I suppose they could if its something that might embarrassing to the NFL, such as a player doing a advertisement for a Strip Club, but if Krispy Kreme wanted to hire Josh to do an endorsement, wouldn't they go to his agent?

Now that is straight BS and he knows it. Cam and Luke are two of the leaders on the team, but they are part of a much larger collective of TD, Kalil, Olsen, and CJ. He's making himself look worse every day and he's setting up for a massive disappointment if he doesn't perform up to the standards of that contract. He's still got a lot of maturing to do.

Exactly.  Norman is proving that he is a grade A douchebag.  He us like that guy who got dumped by the cheerleader...and the. Starts talking about how he never really liked her in the first place.

Washington may be an open place where everyone can say what they want....and maybe that is why they have sucked for a LONG time.

Who would want him for an endorsement...can't understand a single word the guy is trying to say when he talks.  It is like listening to a 2 yo talk gibberish when you speak to them.
