Josh Norman on Panthers Front Office - "Dictatorship"

Look at it this way: DWill still cries about being released, Smith still cannot deal with his release, JNo cannot stop talking about his release, Gross stayed with us, Tillman wants to coach here, and Delhomme literally ("literally") cried at the podium when he was released. Looks to me like all of the players that have played for the Panthers are addicted to us.

norman can eat a bag of dicks!  he is the enemy now.  like we haven't seen this before...letting him walk seems like a better decision for the team the more that time goes by; pretty much the norm for one reason or another since getts was brought in.

i'm glad he got his money because i believe everybody has the right to maximize their worth, but no way he lives up to that contract and with his egotistic personality this very well could equal mad hate from the skins fans; especially if they miss the playoffs.

also, what is this talk about norman not knowing about possible endorsements?  i admit i don't know that much about these things, but i'm trying to understand why an endorser would have any reason to talk to a club about a player before ever even contacting said player unless there is some funny language written in the player's contract specifying such.  i can see a player running possible endorsement money by the club, but not the endorser running it by the club before ever speaking to said player, and then nobody ever telling said player that there were even discussions about him and endorsement opportunities.  that seems like made up BS.  fug you norman!  are you really that much of numbskull that you let your agent bend play you like that?

So what evidence do you have that he did help young WR's?

multiple articles from wr's such as Brandon Lafell and Torrey Smith about how smith help there development, and was a mentor to them. Baltimore articles stating how smith helps the young wr core........

I don't see any evidence proving he wasn't, besides pure speculation

Norman is the typical employee who believed his own press and that the company couldn't make it without him. I guess the boss showed him different. What I like so far from Gettleman is he's building from the New England method. 1 (Brady we lucky we got 2) superstar/face of the franchise then the rest of the players are products of the system. New England and Carolina are the two true "next man up teams in the NFL.

I couldn't care less what he's doing in Baltimore. All he did was insult the young WR's when he was here. I like Smitty, but that's just the truth.

Lafell......Drew Carter spend some offseason working with smith and improved going into the 2007 football year. Insult? that's your opinion i can't find any articles or interviews stating so

he also stayed after practice with kenny moore when he was on the team, going over routes and assignments, proof is in the pudding

Maybe he did, but the thing I remember most is him calling out his teammates in public. That is not helpful. Gentleman has a no a-holes allowed philosophy and I agree with it. It's also obvious that his philosophy is working and that's the only pudding proof that I need.
