Right is right and wrong is wrong. Men don't belong in a women's bathroom. Take me to the tinderbox.

HB2 isn't just a bathroom bill. That's the line being pushed by the media. The other parts of the bill allow employers to discriminate against employees and fire them based on their sexual orientation, ethnicity, race, and religion and prevents Gays/Lesbians from being covered under discrimination laws.

I'm not going to sit here and flame you if you haven't read up on it, but I encourage you to read up on the bill and everything it entails so that you have a more rounded and better understanding of the whole thing.

It's a real step back in equal rights across the board, not just for gays and lesbians.

I thought this for a few days as well, until I researched more about the bill. Honestly people are just going to use the bathroom they've always been using, but its bigger then the bathroom issue.

Russell may have been taken out of contexts or didn't say it at all. But from some of the things I heard from people that interacted with him on the daily at NC state he is kinda fake.

If he's a devout Christian then wouldn't he be in favor of the bill?

What does being a devout christian have to do with overt discrimination.  I believe Jesus welcomed prostitutes, thieves and sinners to the table not shoved them away That bill had nothing to do with protecting woman and children just controlling counties and doing to them what the state complains the federal government is doing to them.

And no I am not going to make this a political discussion or a religious debate.  Just adding my 2 cents and leaving before it goes to the tinderbox.
