Looks like we're getting Trevor Siemian and Blaine Gabbert to start the season

I think Lynch will end up starting against us. There's really not much reason for them to go with Siemian over him and as it looks right now Sanchez is 3rd. It's not like Siemian gives them a significantly better chance to win than Lynch so why not give him game action? Gabbert or Kap, either way that'd be easy on the rookie corners.

I'll give you Gabbert but unless we have figured out something to do with Von Miller that opener ain't gonna the gimme some people around here seem to be making it out to be. Sanchez or Simeon have a better arm than Manning displayed last year.

I for one disagree. It's that assumption that Peyton Manning had no effect on the SuperBowl outcome that's completely absurd and misleading. Peyton Manning helped pop the cork on the win. His confidence, his experience, his leadership and his ability to play a low risk offense during the Superbowl helped lead them to a victory.

Peyton's the best of game managers. He was able to manage the game in a way no one can. His ability to read plays and recognize calls is unbelievable. No QB can replace what his presence was for the franchise.

Now, put in any of the other guys, and you've got a glaring problem. They have a tendency to make mistakes. If the offense can't hold on to the ball and let the Denver defense do their job, then the Panthers will overhaul them easily. The whole idea to their success is having a low risk game managing offense that heavily relies on their defense for success.

In short, if the Broncos offense isn't able to manage the game well under an unsure QB at the helm (that right there can disrupt the chemistry in an offense; when your QB doesn't even know what hes doing), then it'll be a bad night for them at Mile High. Even if the Broncos defense play as well as they did at the Superbowl, I believe our defense can help us win. I personally saw that our defense was just as potent as the Broncos' defense, it's just the fact that the Broncos were making plays near the endzone while we were in the middle of the field.

TL;DR; Any QB that the Broncos start will never replace what Manning was able to accomplish, or even Osweiler. This concept will be tested on Sept. 8th, and whether any starter can fill the role Manning played.

Peyton Manning sucked.  Peyton knew what to do....he was incapable of doing it for the most part last season.

and I said more dangerous.  Any QB they start will be more dangerous because they will be capable to make throws he flat out couldn't (and Manning couldn't make a ton of them)
