football verbs that should be banned from use

Not too serious, just an observation. When talking about a player, the phrase, "Well when you look at..." is used like crazy.

When the message is:

"Thomas Davis is an instinctual, hard hitting player."

What they say is:

"Well when you look at Thomas Davis, you see an instinctual, hard hitting player."

Ben maller used to rant about overused sport verbs, I miss good sorts talk radio.

I dont have much to add, just the saying that triggers my jimmies hardcore is when athletes say " you know what I'm saying......" Over and over........." You know what I'm saying...."

Describing every halfway decent guy as "classy" or saying "he's got class" "pure class" etc.

Just say he's a good fuging dude.

I don't know why but the word "class" just irks me.

ex. "He needs to show some class"

Just has a condescending feel to it.
