Colin is a fine player. Excellent special teams man and good tackler. The issue is when he's asked to play slot CB. He's a safety and can get overmatched at CB sometimes.

It's hard to argue that he won't be, at least in the early going. Not even the greats did great at cornerback their first weeks out there.

 

EDIT: Thankfully it looks like we're getting Trevor Siemian and Colin Kaepernick in Weeks 1 & 2.

If you're basing your opinion of cities on what they were like in the 70s then why don't you just move to Detroit and then call Nashville poo. 

It's actually a city on the rise and following a similar trajectory of Charlotte in growth, just about 5 years behind the QC.
