Position versatility is a big deal on this team.

ehhhhh I think that's a little too thin on the O-line. One of those tight ends or WRs isn't making the cut

They've kept nine every single year under Gettleman. They kept eight Rivera's first year.

He also played a bit of safety for the Patriots. 

I think the staff is going to value having a cohesive group from camp to the season. If someone pretty good and healthy gets released, it's possible, but I think shuffling the CBs again is going to complicate things more than a vet is worth.

Even with though the rookies have never played, the coaches know more about them than they know about how another vet will fit.
