The Carolina Panthers Black Helmet Illuminati has revealed itself once again. This time in the new NFL promo video on youtube... observe... 

 

 

Did you see it? 

Two Carolina Panthers players, Devin Funchess and Thomas Davis, holding black helmets. 

 

Merely a mistake by the prop guy that did the video? Maybe.

 

Or perhaps it is a signal to the enlightened of the coming era of Carolina Panthers black helmet dominance?

I have seen a great number of poorly Photoshopped images in my time as a photographer and I can tell by the pixels that it is a fake.

As much as I want it to be true, the fact they are holding it away from the camera probably meant it was a generic or a mess up helmet

Seeing the one Funchess is holding, I almost immediately wrote this off...  Funchess' helmet looks more navy colored and has no logo that I can see.  But, upon further review, it appears the one TD is holding does indeed have a Panthers' logo on it, and it is black.
