nothing grinds my gears more than one someone uses words like "destroyed", "raped", "embarrassed" when it comes to winning a close game. Especially when said game displayed some of the worst officiating in the sports history.

every bronco fan I've talked to felt like they were lucky to win that one and everything went their way while everything went wrong for us.

I agree to an extent bro, but there is no denying our team came out flat...just flat. Flatter than Kiera Knightly's chest. That freaking flat.

True. But I believe the only way the Broncos win that game was how it happened. 9/10  times we would have kicked their ass. We were and are a better football team.

Flat offense, numerous drops and the refs changing the rules of football for Manning did not spell well for us. Norman also had two dropped picks that game.

The O-line playing horrendous when the whole year they were eating people alive. Remmers and Oher got beat way too often. Remmers met his match with Miller. It was the perfect storm for Denver. It's almost like the NFL wanted someone to ride off in the sunset with a ring...

Pretty sure McClain dropped one that had a good shot at a pick 6 as well.

I believe the bigger issues that shut down the offense were Jonathan Stewart getting injured early, the OTs being weak against speed rushers on the edge, and receivers having trouble getting open and catching the ball.

Speed rushers off the edge coupled with the receivers inability to get open quickly and catch the ball consistently will kill the Panthers offense. It did last season, and the Panthers faced very few speed edge rushers throughout the season. Problem is the Panthers offense will have to deal with several teams this season that are among the best speed edge rushers in the game.

Pair that with the significant declines in the secondary/DE this season and match ups like the Broncos, Raiders, Chargers, Chiefs, Falcons, and Rams do not look very promising.

We all must hope the rookie DBs are pro bowl players, and that KB and Funchess make a big leap while avoiding the second year slump. I do not think there is much hope for the OT position against speed edge rushers this season.

Hearing how CAP improved his pass-blocking this camp reminds me that after Stewie was hurt early in the game, CAP was in there pass-blocking. If he's improved this year. that means last year he wasn't as good. Same with TE Simonson. Hopefully, he's improved his blocking enough to push Dickson for #2 TE, plus give Remmers and Oher better assistance on the edges.

Then no Benji, refs deliberately making the wrong call on Cotchery's catch, and Talib getting a free pass to mug Philly combined with our fumbles and failure to reel in those INTs, we had a lot to overcome, some of which we had no control over.

Definitely looking forward to seeing that Donkey defense without Trevathan, Malik Jackson, and Vance Walker, possibly also without Derek Wolfe (rolled his left ankle in practice today) and Talib (facing possible suspension for doing a Plaxico Burress in a nightclub).

That O-line got blown up this off-season, too. Bye bye Evan Mathis, Louis Vasquez, and Ryan Clady. Hello the oft-injured former Seachicken Russell Okung, the up and down former Chief Donald Stephenson, and 3 players entering their 2nd year.

Haven't even mentioned the new QBs yet, who won't have TEs Owen Daniels and Vernon Davis to help stretch our defense and chip CJ and Ealy.

Yeah, 1 team doesn't have a chance on opening night.
