This is the reason Marty Hurney is paid to do his job, not people on this board.

and sir you dont think you can do his job...we have no 1st rounder...and we are looking at maybe an 8-8 season at best...no back-up o-line..and its looks like to me peppers looks like he does not want to me here..and they wont get any good back-up QB cause it might mess up jakes head more...i mean to me his job looks fairly easy too me...i mean to me

from derek anderson....maybe they might take him...i mean he wants to play in the 3-4 right and anderson likes to throw it deep which would open lanes for the monster running game we have....cause with jake back there safetys are coming up close to the line...think chad pennington last year with the jets

For Derek Anderson? Thats the best you can come up with? How come you suck? Again, we have the most ignorant fan base in the NFL, Cowgirls aside.

Right...but what do you know about our salary cap situation, and how to structure deals? Signing bonuses, incentives. And that's even assuming you know what guy you want, and you're trying to make him an offer or work out a contract. Before that you have to watch all the film, talk to people, and figure out who's going to work the best for your team. You're trying to tell me you want to trade our All-Pro DE for the Brown's sloppy seconds?!

THAT is why you are sitting at home, typing a post that makes more people laugh than take you seriously, and he's sitting in his office right now trying to figure out what to make of this team and how to make them better.

Don't quit your day job.

The Panthers deadline to sign or trade him was July 15th. They are not allowed to do either as of now. Plus, big time trades rarely happen in the NFL and certainly not during the season.

gotcha.

i thought there was some type of deadline or something of the sort. but i wasnt sure.

thanks for clearing that up.
