I kept telling people that 6'3" 250 lb RBs with Cam type speed 4.55/ 4.51 ish don't grow from trees. That is generating some serious power at the point of his first couple steps. But they kept saying, oh he runs too upright blah blah. Doesn't matter when it can be fixed. You can't coach that size.

You don't draft fuging RBs in the 1st in today's NFL unless you're great at other positions or a terrible GM.

That's the only thing. And he was definitely going before we picked in the 2nd round, which he did. I wish him the best though a lot of people was counting him out bad. We'll see him next weekend

Look at the first preseason game. Look at what KB did in his limited time out. Look what Funch did.

I swear, put KB, Funch, and Olsen on the field and DARE a defense to cover all 3 effectively. You can't. You don't have enough guys who are big and fast enough to do it. Can't double team them all.

Now throw Ginn/Philly out there. That's our offense now folks. We'll be run heavy, and we'll be running a lot of two tight end sets it seems....but when we open up this offense, NOBODY can touch it if we execute. It's honestly not even fair.

Also, if KB and Funch are on the field at the same time, you're dictating what the defense is doing. #1 corner is gonna have to cover KB, so Funch will kill most #2 corners in the league.....and vice versa. You can take away one of them (maybe), but you can't take away both. One of those two are gonna have to be covered one on one, or Greg Olsen is. And if Olsen is....well, we know what happens when Greg is left one on one. And again, Ginn/Philly will be out there running drags, slants, and a variety of deep routes to compliment. You cannot stop this offense if it is executed.

Now add in a 2nd pass threat TE in Simonson or Sandland, especially when they get into form in the future...just imagine.

Y'all must be better than me, because I can't tell a damn thing from these videos. The field of view is so narrow you can't see anything that's actually happening during the play.

Yeah I was going off the tweets of them saying he was burning them. He look pretty smooth and fast on those videos, well to me

Devin can play inside and outside, run better routes and possesses more athleticism. While I like Benji, he doesn't anything else outside size and strength.

Funchess is our Brandon Marshall. Benjamin is our Alson Jeffrey.

Bruh... You still on this?

I remember when you were calling Benji fat and lazy just a year ago.

Truth is we don't know what the ceiling is for these two yet. But we are damn lucky to have both at this point in their careers. It's a great time to be a Panthers fan.

Todd Gurley?  The Panthers could have used Henry. ...and OL Depth at tackle.   For a team that runs backs are average at best and as Newton ages, they need to fix it . Butler, we'll probably insure against KK

I think Benji has better coordination. Funch is definitely more powerful though. He will be the more dangerous of the two. He will attack the back grids more than KB and generally be more of a threat downfield. KB will attack the front grids more. Both should be equally dangerous in the red zone.

This is the going to the year where I chuckle every time the ball is on O. It's going to be ridiculous, no one has ever put on offense on the field like this before.

He came to camp 10 lbs overweight and was called out by Rivera. Benji deserved it. Let's not pretend that Kelvin doesn't come with consistency issues. Ummm, hello, he showed up to FSU camp 15-20 lbs overweight too. This isn't new.

Here's what we know: Devin can play all three WR positions and play TE too, he possesses top level athleticism (basketball background) and has size himself at 6'4", his football IQ is praised constantly, and his route running is clean. That to me indicates that Funchess' ceiling is higher than Benjamin's.

It's that simple. Funchess has more tools and athleticism. If Devin can put it together at 22, then he'll be the new ultimate weapon in the NFL.

Benjamin can play flanker,split-end,or even in the slot,on top of that he would even be a better fit at TE than Funchess not only because he has the more ideal frame for the job but also because he is also a more formabile foe in the blocking game.

your logic or argument  that since Funchess versatility is SUPPOSEDLYgreater than Benjis that his ceiling is higher is  just asinine to say the very least.look if that was the case then Joe Webb would be the reigning MVP right now instead of Cam.

Funchess maybe be faster and more fluid. But that doesn't necessarily make him a better weapon.

The thing about KB is that his arms are so long, his shoulders and frame are so big that the man is truly always open. He can box out and highpoint the ball better.

If I had pick one for 3rd and long or the end zone Id take KB every time.
