It's all good though

Everybody knows Hammerin'Cameron has the best analysis of Panthers transactions

Its pretty simple, when you cut your All Pro CB in a year its Super Bowl or bust, that you have a Pro Bowl pass rusher waiting to be signed

uh, no

that would be cpantherking bud

specific examples of what?

again, as I said, the biggest issue is you don't understand why Hardy is currently unemployed.  It is not the domestic violence issue but everything he displayed AFTER it.

Specific examples of behavior AFTER the May 2014 incident that are worse than countless heroes and legends of sports and society.

I already thought, when it was released Dallas was not going any further with Hardy, he'd come back to Carolina

Then we rescind the tag of our All-Pro CB in a year it's Super Bowl or bust ...

Then I knew for sure Hardy was going to be a Panther

Infallible logic. I'm just mad at myself for not having figured it out before you put in black and white and made it so obvious. Well done sir. Well. Done.

Huh?  That make no sense.

Hardy's issue is once he needed to go on the standard NFL redemption tour.....he displayed chronic dumb behavior instead.  So you would look at a Mike Vick, a Ray Rice, a whoever.....and when they wanted back they followed the proper behavior pattern.  Only reason Ray Rice doesn't have a job is because he is an old RB.   If he had talent he would be playing today but he followed protocol.

Hardy refused.  Now Hardy has no job.

Again, what is "chronic dumb behavior"?  Examples.  I have some-going back to college, working with kids, undergoing therapy, training with the most prominent league combine trainer, etc. etc.. The most recent national interview had the interviewer impressed until he himself was given a gag order.  The narrative was written with Atlantic City elevator video surfacing in September 2014.  "Kraken Swag"-i.e. pre-ACV (Atlantic City Video) see 2:40 of video, was enough to earn the tag from GMan.  Chronic dumb behavior must=Kraken Swag?  http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-videos/0ap2000000356146/Top-100-Greg-Hardy

Can you recall a single story that hit the media involving Mike Vick in his first season in Philly? That was about something he did THAT season and wasn't about something POSITIVE he was doing?

Now, insert Hardy into that question post incident.  You see, that is the difference of why Vick went back to making millions of dollars and Hardy is unemployed.  Chronic dumbass behavior post incident.

I could list all the specifics but you will look at each one in a vacuum and blow each one off individually, overlooking the fact he is supposed to be invisible outside of good football play in the short term.

Did coach Garrett have to answer questions about why Hardy is talking about opponents wives? Did he have to address tardiness? Did he have to address angry confrontations with coaches?  With teammates?  YES.  That doesn't even get into how Hardy opted to go out of his way not to talk about domestic violence and then to randomly bring up the incident all over again after all that with a weird Adam Schefter interview.

Hardy was Hardy's biggest problem post incident.

I'm done here.  I foolishly have engaged in this Hardy thread past it's deadline.  Panther football started last weekend.

Hardy Jr doesn't have a DV history either, the girl was not only on coke but had marks consistent with being restrained after going ballistic rather than being struck with intent, Hardy Jr had marks too, Hardy Jr called 911, and Hardy Jr is obviously not even with the girl anymore.

My point was that if the kicker had a history, he would have gotten more than a one game suspension, even for something as minor as this.  Hardy got a lot worse without any history, because of the bruises that the pictures showed, and because of the timing of the incident.

Thank you for your legitimate thoughts and opinions on the topic.  A topic that remains extremely relevant to the Carolina Panthers-as we're seeing at least one possibly more players suspended for one or zero games for equal or lesser "offenses", the Carolina Panthers lost $13+ million and a Super Bowl 49 opportunity.  Currently the obvious #1 available FA on John Clayton's list from today (8/18), the Panthers (Super Bowl favorite) must decide between this All-Pro talent and leftover Tom, Dick, or Harry scraps from inferior teams at the DE position for equal money.  Again, this is VERY relevant to Panthers football.

The media had no video to go after the dog fighting cause like they had with the ACV.  Vick also pleaded guilty (to a felony), Hardy Jr has remained steadfast in innocence.  The media can blow up or shut down anything to their liking, as seen with the Schefter interview, the narrative had already been written, no matter what.

Truth be told, there naturally WOULD be concern for the 30 other teams if you read reports from Dallas and the media.  I doubt I'd take the plunge either if I were the owner/GM of the Bears, for example.  But clearly that is not the case with this team and it's core who have been robbed of their brother.

Misdemeanor assault is misdemeanor assault.  When a coke head goes ballistic and must be restrained, the marks will look different (i.e. not enough to win a jury trial of his/her peers) than what was described in the Brown incident.

What about timing?  We've long since determined this is a 100% make up as we go racket, so if the league is NOW deciding they don't care (Brown, Lawson, Hill, etc.), why should we since we're now going on two years since it was thrown out by the court?  Release the Kraken JR.

Keep fighting the good fight, Mama Hardy.

One of Hardy Jr's great TEAMMATES from last year was back in the news today.  Dez Bryant, he of lying to NCAA, girlfriend, and mother beating fame (sitting zero games), exchanged pleasantries with a state senator after being embroiled in a large civil suit.  Chronic dumb behavior?  Yes, these teammates and that organization to which Hardy Jr quarreled should hold more weight to our owner and fans than our team captains and GM that tagged the man.
