Hardy?

To be completely honest I can't see Hardy playing on any other team outside of the Panthers. The only way he gets signed to another team is they get completely depleted with injuries this season. I still then believe it will be a long shot. Hardy has only thrived and had success with only one team. If he ever wants to play in the NFL again he will needs to make life changes and get his life turned around. The only team that remotely has the leadership to help him is the Panthers. Just being brutally honest.

That is a good idea.  We could advise no new Hardy threads and pin it in Tinderbox or make a new sub forum for Underwater Needlepoint and park it there

If we lose or win with a bad defensive performance in Week One, I have a feeling the mods are going to be rather busy.

Josh Brown isnt a big scary DE though

Hardy is a big scary monster

DV is DV ... Brown only left a red mark on her wrist, leaving a red mark on a womens wrist from malicious intent is just as bad as any other domestic violence

People are fools, saying no to Hardy like they are fighting the "good fight"

Where are these same people disgusted by the league giving only a 1 game suspension for another players DV case

On ESPN, you have to click specifically on NFL, scroll halfway down, and click on a "personal conduct policy" (NOT DV) headline. WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!!  Panther fans (and Jerry) should be livid.

This has to be the most asinine reasoning ive ever read on here. You mean to tell me that a red mark on someone's wrist is the same beating someone to the point they have bruises all over or to the point they end up in the hospital? You do realize that I can make a woman's wrist red by just grabbing her arm when she tries to slap me and accidentally squeezing too hard. It would be much harder to accidentally put bruises all over a woman.

Having said that, I don't believe you should ever hit a woman but I don't expect anyone to stand there and let a woman slap or hit you either

Did you read the article?  Not that I am condoning it, but its a far cry from what Ray Rice or  Hardy did. He grabbed her wrist and left an area of redness around it. And the article doesn't mention any history of domestic violence.  One game sounds about right.

Hardy Jr doesn't have a DV history either, the girl was not only on coke but had marks consistent with being restrained after going ballistic rather than being struck with intent, Hardy Jr had marks too, Hardy Jr called 911, and Hardy Jr is obviously not even with the girl anymore.

If this team lets Mark Sanchez or Paxton Lynch beat them, even without Greg Hardy Jr, there are more issues than anyone realized.  The problems Greg Hardy Jr would fix may not show up until later in the season.

Bruh, it is the NFL.  People at this point aren't saying no to Hardy to give an illusion of "fighting the good fight".

Teams don't care big picture.

Biggest problem with the Hardy clan is ya'll can't grasp why he is currently unemployed.  He is unemployed because of his overall behavior and what his displayed AFTER the domestic violence incident

Hardy has a history of troublesome behavior.  That is why he has no team.  No NFL team cares about 1 incident (even horrible ones)

Give specific examples and assuredly I'll give you individuals, in this case NFL players, that did equal or worse.  Lawrence Taylor was mentioned earlier.  On the 2016 Panthers, CAP has been mentioned for his reckless decision this offseason.

This thread is seriously entertaining. It should definitely be pinned. It's almost disrespectful to the integrity of the thread to have it slip down the page some only to revive itself to maintain it's own dignity. Pinning this thread would show everyone that this issue is at the heart, nay, the crux, the very center I might say of the success of the Carolina Panthers in this upcoming 2016 season. Think of the children! Isn't anyone gonna help that poor man? He's just crazy enough to do it!

specific examples of what?

again, as I said, the biggest issue is you don't understand why Hardy is currently unemployed.  It is not the domestic violence issue but everything he displayed AFTER it.

@Jeremy Igo

Why did you delete all my content from my other account and then yourself create a fake UNC account, thus creating this Hardy thread

So when we do sign Hardy you wouldn't have me saying (and proving, with my prior content) that I'm the smartest Panthers fan and all of you know nothing

Young man, I like your style.

I don't care what anyone says.

Pie for you for having brass cojones!

This is what the no-to-Hardy clan can't grasp and why Hardy is clearly going to be a Panther

... that what he did after the DV matters 0 in the eyes of the Panthers front office, cause it didn't involve the law ... who gives a poo what he did in the dumpster fire that is Dallas, everyone in the Panthers organization knows what the fug he did here

That is what you can't grasp

it is proven fact that what he did AFTER matters to NFL teams...hence why he is uniquely unemployed.  We know for a fact that you can do much worse or comparable things....and get a job in the NFL.  Only thing you have to do is act right now that you are under a microscope.....Hardy refused and that speaks volumes to teams that he lacks such little control.

I mean, your argument makes zero sense.  If his behavior POST incident didn't matter he would be employed TODAY.  But he isn't....which disapproves the logic you used in your post above
