Which is exactly why I said in my other post Im most worried about DE. I don't fully trust Ealy or CJ as starters and behind them we don't have poo. But I truly beleive Gettleman will address the position before the regular season starts

that's good to hear... i haven't rewatched any of it. my biggest concern with him is getting those feet moving in pass defense. he is a ridiculous run blocker but seems to get killed by speed rushers... hopefully this is just my misconception

Was Larry Webster out as well yesterday? I don't recall anything about him and I don't think I saw him. He's on the bigger side, so I'd like to see him, but if he's hurt it doesn't help.

 

I trust CJ too. I just do not know how long he will hold up. That is what led to acquiring Allen last season when Ealy demonstrated he was unable to hold down the DE position well enough to be trusted by the rest of the defense.

Addison makes too many mental errors.

Ealy will get another chance early in the season to prove he can be trusted. I hope he is able to perform consistently, or CJ stays healthy for the season.

Looks to me like there are 5 players that will have to carry the defense this season. KK, Star, Kuechly, TD, and Shaq. After those 5 players, I do not see any other game changers on defense.

I remember when we were all saying that there was no way we'd go into the regular season with Bell and Chandler as our starting OTs... 

Our DE situation is a helluva lot better than that utter disaster though.
