What are you guys looking for in the game tonight?

Daryl Williams: IMHO Williams needs to win the RT spot, but maybe not for the reasons you think. While Williams may have a higher ceiling than Remmers, it is actually Remmers versatility along the entire line that makes me pull for him to lose his starting spot.  Remmers is a high IQ guy who can be plugged in anywhere on the line.  He would make a better utility backup than Williams and has more experience playing different positions.  Remmers may even be the answer at center when Kalil decides to hang up his cleats.

Bradberry and Worley: Gettleman had an interesting approach to the draft.  He stated that we have played a number of people at the CB position over his tenure with the Panthers and he was looking for more stability at the position.  Bradberry and Worley need to start anchoring this position now.  If they prove capable, we could have the CB position solidified for the next 4 years and beyond.

CAP and Wegher: I truly believe the future of our running back position may be these two players in tandem.  They are 26 and 25 years old respectively and are becoming proficient in both catching out of the backfield and blocking.  We have all seen the glimpses of excellence, but can either show that it was not by chance?  I have not been impressed with Fozzy.  He is a relatively one dimensional player, whereas Cap/Wegher could shoulder the load as an everydown back and be effective in the short passing game.  While Fozzy has been penciled onto the roster early, I am hoping CAP and Wegher can change that.

Damere Byrd: I also believe D-Byrd has a higher upside than many of the Panthers receivers currently on the roster.  We have seen what Brown, Bersin, and Norwood have to offer.  None of them have Byrds speed and ability to take the top off the defense. Ginn, who relies on speed not catching ability, is now 31 and his specific ability doesn’t improve with age.  I could see Byrd as his successor.

Sandland, Simonson, and Braxton: What an amazing battle at TE.  All three TEs are under 24 years old and it is likely only one makes the squad.  Though they all appear to be playing well, none of the young TEs have completely separated themselves from the group.  The decision on who to keep will likely come down to game performance. Even though Dickson is 29 and likely plateaued in his playing ability, it appears he is penciled in for a spot on the roster next to Olsen.

1. Corners-  all young guys, 3 draft picks.  See how Bene looks coming off injury

2. WR-  see Funchess after all the hype.  Philly with the extra muscle see if he still has lost any speed.  Hill if healthy guys was super hyped up then fallen drastically lately, want to him finally in a game.  Byrd, gaining momentum with hill struggling showing he could be a deep threat like ginn.  Bersin on the hot seat and has been struggling.  See if he steps up his game in the games.

3. TE's-  see the battle of simonsons, sandland, and deaver

Good point about Remmers and Williams, although Williams might be the better back up at LT if something happened to Oher, so I would like to see him get some work on that side.

Doing a daily fantasy thing and picking some panthers: Who do you think gets more time tonight: CAP or WEGS?

I'd play Wegs as he should be playing after CAP and will play against inferior players. Better chance for more points.

I want to see KB(if he even plays) go up in the red zone like he did last year in the Buffalo preseason game. That means we scored and the 1's can go to the bench.

No joke I want to see how Swazye Waters does. It was just be awesome if we had a solid punter that constantly can flip the field, make the other team have to go the length of the field and his name would be Swazye Waters.
