ESPN's John Saunders has passed away

He seemed like one of the few actual reporters that ESPN had on staff. Not just an on air personality but a reporter who focused on sports. That early Sunday morning show the Sports Reporters always hit me with some thinking sports journalism before the onslaught of 12 hours of NFL.

The guys that I liked the most are pretty much all gone. Stewart Scott and now John Saunders.

2016 has been a rough year. Between Kimbo and John, I'm not sure how much more I can take.

Somebody on ESPN who was all about the sports not some made up personality. RIP seemed like one of the good guys.

Massive loss to an already dwindling talent pool at ESPN.
