And the facts are, yes, they were on the medications and, yes, when they committed their acts the majority of them were OFF of their medications.

the pharmaceutical industry is a multi billion dollar industry designed to keep patients sick and reliant on medication for the rest of their lives. The moment they stop taking these medicines, like you mentioned, it can cause an adverse reaction. But you can make the argument that if they never took the medicine to begin with, that "adverse reaction" would have never occurred.  

I can at least partially agree with your view.

IMO, the worst example of forced-drug use in the country today is the sad LARGE amount of young boys who are placed on Ritalin because they are acting out like... young boys.

Yes, Ritalin is a valid and useful drug for those that actually DO have attention deficit disorders.  I just feel that "attention deficit disorder" these days is a useful diagnosis for "we just want a quick way to calm this child down because actual parenting/schooling/disciplining is too hard so we'll say he has ADD and drug him".  (And, P.S., that ain't the pharmaceutical industry doing that.)

Misdiagnosis is the problem. The wrong drugs exacerbate issues that actually do exist, leading to intense reactions. That hardly proves that medications never work. Trust me, when treated correctly, drugs are extremely beneficial. Life-changing! 

What Mason needs is a competent Doctor willing to truly help him and not just slap a random prescription on his problem.

But did you ever consider all those people on medications such as these that aren't involved in mass shootings?

This is a complex issue that isn't due to one single factor. Those drugs don't MAKE you do those things. It's far more likely those people weren't getting ENOUGH help from professionals.
