I keep hearing that the Panthers are expecting a packed house tonight. I'm a little bit worried that, because tickets are free, that a ton of people got on and grabbed 6 tickets on the off chance that they'd get around to going. Then another large group of people grabbed as many as they could in hopes of selling them, but probably didn't. So now, a bunch of people with tickets won't go, and a bunch of people who want to go don't have tickets. Hope I'm wrong, but I won't be surprised if the stadium isn't as full as last year.

Sounds about right... With that said, I really want to go so let me know if anyone has extra tix. Willing to pick them up too.

Wish I did. We're using ours. Anyone who grabbed some and aren't using them, put them up on here to get butts in the seats.

I got six in case others couldn't.  I know several people who waited for hours, and the event was sold out well before they could get logged in.  I'm only using two myself, but I'm glad I was able to help at least four other people get there, who wouldn't have been able to otherwise.  Unfortunately, I know several others who would love to go, but can't, because of the assholes trying to sell them.  Some people make me so fuging sick...

I'm willing to bet 90-95% of the seats that are given are filled unless it rains.

On that note, it looks like we might be okay, as far as weather is concerned.  So far, it's looking like it will be broken up by the time practice starts.

Hope you're right. Just doubt that the "I both have and need tickets at the same time" guys who want $100 for them will be giving them all away if they don't sell.

I think you're overestimating the amount of ticket that went into scalpers hands. I know there are some on Ebay and various ticket sites but not enough to make a noticeable difference.

I hope everyone that goes has a blast and I'm glad they came up with a somewhat successful resolution after last year's fiasco. Also, if you see one in another team's jersey point them in the direction of 77 or 85 and tell them to GTFO.

You're right. I would think that the highest percentage of empty seats would be from people who picked them up because they were free, with little intention of actually making it.

I do definitely like the new approach in terms of actually having a seat. As much as I like getting in line at 4:00, enjoying beers for a couple more hours is going to be pretty nice.

    • The problem with drafting a DE/EDGE high in the 1st is the bust factor.  That position group busts at a scary rate.  We HAVE to hit our first 3 rounds.  Cant take chances on tweeners or potential guys.
    • Man folks right on this site said Deion was gonna follow his son to the nfl and have a big impact on his draft stock with his interference and yet we have seen no such thing. He just signed an extension to stay in Colorado for the foreseeable future. The only thing we have seen is so called experts try to tank shedeurs stock with false accusations and rumors and deion just had to step in and shut it down. This why you have to stop listening to what certain people say. Too much hate and emotion in most opinions.
    • That's sound logic! I think we could make a case for a few players. I know its not popular  with a few but Warren gives to the  identity we want. Tremble is mostly a blocker. Sanders flashed late but mostly a receiving  threat at the moment. Warren is an automatic 1st down, run blocks, runs the ball and can even line up and throw it. To me he is if you took the Taysom Hill and actually could play tight end too. I just think looking at Goedert, Kelce,  Laporta, Hoeckenson, Baltimore Tight ends, Knox and Kindcaid and etc... all the  last few teams had stellar Tight end play. Warren allows you to be unpredictable  on offense bc he is equally good at being a target, as he is a blocker. Don't want to run Bryce on a qb sneak, plug Warren in with the threat to pass. I would be happy with him, Walker or a few others. As long as the player isn't riding the bench year 1.
