The one Stat I still cannot believe about the Panthers and drives me nuts...

The Panthers have never had back to back winning seasons...

 

...yet we were the 1st team in the NFCS to win back to back (to back)  championships.

Barring major injury to major players, I can't imagine we wouldn't go 9-7 or better this year. I think that streak ends this year.

We have had good defenses in the past but we have never had a better offense or better coaches in our history.  I don't know how much longer we can hope to keep our coaching staff intact with continued success.

I'm arguing with the village idiot in another thread about the Panthers needing to become consistent, which I believe is about to happen.

You need stability to do that, QB, front office and HC.  If you can get those, you can make a run at the playoffs every year...if you have those three and are great in the trenches, you can compete for a SB every year.

I think it would have to be the biggest injury plague in Panther history, and include Cam, in order to not achieve a winning record this year.

Needs more kick off and punt returns for tds. 

But yeah, its a weird stat considering some of the teams we've had. 

This team tho, this team changes everything.
