Guys with trent getting cut i think now would be the perfect time for us to revive his career.  If you look at his rookie numbers they were really good.....he ran the ball well and caught a lot of passes.  In our offence he would thrive with cam, and he is still only 26 years of age.

I think its time for the hogfather to make another great deal and bring trich in.

Then why are we talking about Trent Richardson?

you cant watch some of his videos and know he has talent.....just been wasted on terrible teams....

bring him here and he will get to the second level and start laying the hammer on some DB's and straight to the end zone

So you have watched the 5 minute highlight of his entire career that has all 7 good runs? And that makes you think he is better than anyone we have on the roster at running back?

He cannot get to the second level with a map and a guide dog.

Trent Richardson has made millions of dollars playing tag football in the NFL.

He plays running back like a tired hooker - Give him money, touch him once, and he is on his back with his legs in the air.

I can keep going if you want. I am on a roll.

    • We need a solid returner, which he can do. And that is going to help. But you watch his tape, against good SEC competition and the guy just has it. Just wasn't always on a good team. And then, that bloodline... Loved watching his Dad play the game. If some of that skill and all of that football knowledge came down to him, then there will be a seat for him in the WR room this season. I'll be pulling for him during training camp to make the final roster.
    • To add to the experts' analysis, Jordan Reid of ESPN was a big fan of the Panthers draft. Here's highlights of the article: Which team produced your favorite class? Reid: Carolina Panthers. Receiver, edge rusher and safety were their top needs entering the draft, and they addressed all of them in the first four rounds. Tetairoa McMillan was my highest-ranked receiver -- he gives Bryce Young a true WR1. Princely Umanmielen and Nic Scourton provide Carolina with two young edge rushers. Lathan Ransom is a hard-hitting safety who can produce on the back end and special teams. Jimmy Horn Jr. was one of my favorite late-round receivers and could stick on the roster as a return specialist. Make your early call for Offensive Rookie of the Yea Reid: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Carolina Panthers. I'm a big believer in McMillan's fit with Bryce Young. McMillan's catch radius will instantly make him the go-to receiver for the Panthers. He also has the formational versatility to play multiple spots and can fill the role Mike Evans had in Dave Canales' offense in 2023, when Canales was the Buccaneers' offensive coordinator.
    • pretty much this. for anyone with an open mind, it has to be perfectly clear that he proved himself worthy of the starting gig and we're going to be in good shape going forward. the benching was the wake up call/kick in the ass he needed.
