This guy just did...broke the record for the highest jump without a parachute.  I'm all for an adrenaline rush, but this is insane.

Me either. But they touched him multiple times. I'd imagine to keep the drop "on target". Yes wind could have blown him off course, but if the wind was low that day all he needed was the right angle so to speak. They eventually had to open their chutes and he was alone, but only for like five seconds. Still, he almost missed the net.

Yeah I thought it was BS that there was even a net.  He should have just taken the impact like a man.

I want to think that his plan was NOT to hit the middle of the net.  That would allow the net to absorb some of the blow.  Can I add that I liked how he was wearing a helmet.  Safety first!

If he did, then it was underneath his suit and that means he would have had to strip while free falling.
