The Huddler

I gotta go with big DWill for the breakout player. I see him supplanting Remmers before the end of camp. Not only that, but pushing for a pro bowl nod. Filling out biggest SB weakness!

As far as how came across this looney bin, I can't quite remember at this point, but it was circa 2005-6ish, so probably a Fark.com link, AIM or IRC chat, or the Yahoo search string: "Carolina panthers" + Fansite +cheerleaders -"social life".

I think James Bradberry will be a breakout player. He is going to be given all the opportunity in the world, and I think he will grasp it.

A few years ago I was looking for a Panthers forum and came across the Huddle. Don't post much, but read a lot.

Shaq and Ealy seem to be the popular choices, and I agree but I'll try to pick a different guy. I really like Sandland. Calling a seventh round rookie a breakout candidate is rich I know, especially with Greg Olsen holding down his position, but I just loved this kid throughout the pre-draft process and was thrilled we somehow got him so late. Maybe not initially, but I think he'll take over Dickson's role sooner than later. Admittedly that's not a "breakout" player, but I'm trying to keep myself from picking Shaq here.

I found the Huddle a few years back while studying in the university library. I don't remember if I was taking a break or just procrastinating, but I started searching around for Panthers content and came across it. I lurked for probably another year before actually joining, though.

1. DONE

2. I think that this is a relatively easy and obvious answer but given the nature of the coverage and relative lack of sample size I have to go with Shaq Thompson. He played running back in college to go along with a raw playmaking ability at linebacker which led to some doubts about his ability at this level. With a full season and off-season under his belt spent with Kuechly and Davis, I expect his athletic ability to match the play the position requires and for him to break out with a couple of interceptions, highest sack total of the linebackers, and a defensive TD.

3. I came across the Huddle looking for information on the team that news stations didn't provide back in 2010. I had just moved back home after my failed attempt at ECU (graduating next spring), and had been spending a lot of time in and around Charlotte. I had always followed the Panthers and went to one game a year growing up however I finally had my own money to do as I wished. I was looking for a community of Panthers fans for some friendly banter and exchanging of ideas. No one I know is as big of a football nut as I am and it's tough to have the types of conversations I crave outside of the huddle.

4. I'm well past 100 posts.

5. I would love to be able to take my four year old to his first game with a good seat. His first jersey was purchased and given as a gift to him from my dad before he was born. Would be a big moment.

Im going with tre boston as the break out player.  Has all the talent, new focus this year and is under the tutelage of kurt coleman who is a stand up dude.

Been on the huddle for a couple of years, i found it through google.  Tried reading some other ones but they sucked.

If i recive the tickets it will go to my GF who is a huge fan and got us season tickets so this would be a nice thank you.

Cool thing your doing btw.

My biggest breakout candidate is Cameron Artis Payne. Stewart works best with some platooning and the coaching staff will want to keep him fresh as the season goes along, and I think CAP will be ready to take the next step and provide more than expected big plays and will show a nice receiving flair.

I discovered the Huddle during the 2008 season while looking for a good place to rant on why I thought the Panthers were a Super Bowl bound team that season. I even went to the Huddle tailgate, discovered "turds" for the first time and beat got my ass beat in Madden by Alvarez (I think?) This place as been an absolute time suck since then, as evidenced by our little online poll adventures and my post count ;)

Got em. Wont let me PM you
