Rookie Watch: James Bradberry

Our Rookie CBs are in good fortune.   They not only are getting thrown to the fire but they are now facing just about every possible type of WR your can face in the NFL.

Height KB, Funchess and Olsen

Speed (Ginn, Brown and Byrd)

Combination of Both (Stephen Hill)

When they face the rest of the NFL it isn't going to be anything they haven't already seen in practice everyday.

That can't help but be a benefit for them.

The Panthers receivers are at a disadvantage because they will not be tested anywhere close to what they will see on game day. I expect all the receivers to look better than they actually are in practice with the lack of experience/talent in the defensive secondary. So, the advantage in match ups will favor the DBs and WRs of every team the Panthers face this season.

Yes, they are going to be taken advantage of by the likes of Mark Sanchez and Blaine Gabbert let alone the best of the best in the league.

The issue is no matter how great the LBs and DTs play, they are going to be left vulnerable as a total defense by the secondary. Opponents will play the flats and deep 3rd of the field all day.

When it comes to the fantasy football talking heads, expect them to highlight the receivers facing the Panthers as their go to picks every week (even Torrey Smith in week 2).

Paxton Lynch is looking great in camp!

Remember in 13-14 when Norman blew a coverage against Buffalo that cost the game and everyone on here was calling him a dumbass and a loser?

I remember Rivera commenting that Norman did his own thing on that play instead of the defensive play that was called which landed him in the dog house.
