Short version - This is nothing new for him, he played it last year at times.

So Boston is the Free safety now? I figured thatd be the case with harper gone, I worry though cause coleman is kinda small when you compare him to the top SS in the NFL today. Still he packs a punch like no other! *flexes*

The Panther defense is going to take a rookie CB, and make him a household name, by the beginning of the playoffs.

I like the move to SS for Coleman. We need good ball Hawking safeties who can also tackle. But the biggest liability in our scheme was the strong safety being weak in coverage. Teams can no longer exploit that weakness like they did with Harper.

If you watch kurts interview he kept saying "do your job" over and over.

We drafted these guys because they are big and smart.  If they do their jobs we will be fine with that front 7.

I like both Safety moves for us. Coleman balled out last year. Boston has continued to improve and I think he will excel at FS. Ready for the season

To be honest, I predicted this last year while I was playing Madden 16. I would always take Roman Harper out, move Kurt Coleman to SS. Bring in Tre Boston at FS. Did my secondary some good on that backend with Kurt Coleman not being afraid to tackle and good coverage skills place him on the same side as a TE normally with Boston covering deep. Tre has shown flashes just like Josh Norman did in years past before having his break out year. This is going to be Tre Boston's breakout year. You heard it here first...lol
