No team will take a flier on Hardy because of the way Hardy has presented himself POST incident.  Not because of the incident.   Hardy is a victim at this point, because of himself.

If Greg Hardy didn't act like a douche in court and in the press...then went to Dallas and said little in the media and just played football with being a distraction??? He would have a multi year deal right now.  But he didn't.

NFL will always give people a shot at redemption if you can play....Hardy handled his re-entrance once his initial suspension was dealt as poorly as possible.

the fact of the matter is after the rice video the media preception of players involved with DV changed almost over night. No longer did they get a pass regardless of circumstances. Now if you were involved even in the slightest you were getting ripped apart. Hardy as he was the best player out of anyone involved with DV at that time was the Leagues sacrificial lamb.  

The reason no team isn't taking him isn't because Hardy can't play, it isn't because Hardy is a douche bag or a "woman beater". The reason no team is touching Hardy now is because it's easier to just not take him on your team then to deal with the media backlash formed against Hardy after the Ray rice video because every little thing Hardy has done since gets in the cycle of media and heavily scrutinize for no reason.

*gets into an argument with a teammate who cost his team an important NFC east game* headline news story, Hardy a terrible teammate with anger issues, why is he even still playing. 

 

Nicole holder wanted his money, she saw the big 13 million dollar pay day and knew Hardy was breaking up with her because he was moving on to bigger and better things so she cashed in ruining his life in the process. Really telling that she wasn't even concerned about the justice for "what had been done" to her. she got allegedly paid off and instantly went shopping. But some of you eat up exactly what the media feeds you and has tricked you into believing a guy whose come on this very huddle to help raise money and coats for disadvantaged kids and this terrible monster who beat poor Nicole holder and threatened to kill her on a futon full on guns. 

The media is the single biggest reason Hardy isn't playing. Witch hunt was succesful

again, professional sports has repeatedly proven no matter the screw up.....they (teams, leagues, and fans) will take you back if you walk the redemption path and do the PR work. 

You are stuck on focusing on things that are out of Hardy's control in the past....and choose to downplay and ignore all the things Hardy could of controlled after the incident.  Hardy opted not to care about doing what he had to do to get back

Before the Ray rice video sure. Post video the climate changed. Rivera has spoken on this type of climate change in his pressers. 

The media chose to start caring about DV after the video and started crucifying anyone linked with it. 

You are choosing to ignore and downplay very real aspects that surrounded Hardy and solely try to put blame on him for things others did to him. The way he was portrayed in the media is where you are getting the perception he didn't care or chose to go full retard. Media can color judgement about any person given how they choose to report it. The joke about Brady's wife is largely a non story made by any other single player but it's Hardy so it got blown up. The argument he had with his teammate is something that occurs every single week on the NFL field yet when Hardy did it was a talking point and news story for a week. 

 

When the media comes out and says "I read the court transcripts and what Hardy did to her was EVEN WORSE than what Ray rice did we just don't have the video" you are demonizing someone publicly with no facts. Just the word of Nicole Holder. 

No amount of PR changes that damage. The media set out on their witch hunt and its cost an elite talent his career when there is no conviction, the facts of the case point to Nicole being high on Coke and acting insane and Hardy just wanting her to leave.

I think hardy was done wrong in 2014, bit since then the problem has been all him. All he had to do was issue an apology, keep his head down and play out the season. Instead he argued with coaches and gave highly questionable quotes. He has nobody to blame for his current unemployment but himself.

 

Having said that, I like hardy and hope he gets everything squared away.

they opened with a morning walk-thru and an afternoon practice.

Paper estimates that a grand total of 1,000 fans attended.

Last years total attendance was 81,000.

Of course the big story was the battle between JNo24 and DeSean.

hardy didn't beat her. Hardy is guilt of making some dumb decisions and having terrible choice in women but DV he is not. Yeah so uncoachable both player and GM (a different GM and staff that drafted him) felt the franchise tag was a win/win after 4 years, even in cap hell and no LT.

There is no 2013 or 2014 NFCS Champion Panthers without Greg Hardy Jr-the latter of which was won by .5 game, Hardy Jr helping win a division road game with a backup QB.

If he was so good then maybe Dallas should bring him back... I wonder why they haven't even attempted to retain him. Maybe its because he's a lunatic, and made for an awful locker room presence.
