Sad?!!!! What the fug is wrong with you.

Uh I have a brain and I don't believe the reporting of factually incorrect puppets on ESPN?!?

hardy didn't beat her. Hardy is guilt of making some dumb decisions and having terrible choice in women but DV he is not. If Mike Vick can kill dogs and go to jail then play Hardy should be able to play when he doesn't even have a conviction on his record. What's even more sad is no one gave a damn about what Hardy did or didn't do until the ray rice video dropped and he got  associated by proxy. Then anyone even remotely linked got a witch hunt out against them. Something Hardy didn't deserve. So with that on top of missing an entire year of his playing career gets black balled from the league for trying to restrain a crazy coked gold digger who was getting broken up with after Hardy hit a 13 mil contract. So yes sad.

Hardy is the reason he may not play....nothing else.

Vick wasn't a douche after his incident.  Vick didn't cause trouble when a team have him his first shot at redemption.  Vick put his head down and played football.

NFL players will be forgiven...if they do what they need to.  Hardy hasn't.  No one should feel bad or care

Being reported that Hardy reached out to a team in the CFL, but their league's head office said 'no'.

Don't you see? It's all part of Gettlemens master plan.  Not a single team will dare touch Hardy because the Panthers are going to sign him.  Keep up dude!

Categorically false. Name any reporter nationally or link any ESPN article demonizing Hardy for his case BEFORE the Ray rice video was released. Literally no one cared about Hardy or what he was going thru until that happened. Hardy was deemed guilty in the court of public opinion and demonized HEAVILY for it. "Futon full of guns" trope gets trotted out and he is literally the devil. Damage done. Then fast forward to his time in Dallas. He has sat out 15 games for the panthers. Then he sits out his games for Dallas. The man has not been found guilty of any thing in a court of law. He has accepted and fulfilled the punishment handed down from the league. And still gets demonized in the media with calls for him to sit, be cut, never play again. Makes a harmless joke about about tom Brady's wife. Media explodes. Gets into words with a team who cost the team a winnable game against the Giants. Media explodes how he's not a team guy, anger issues, doesn't get it.

The media, how they handled and portrayed Hardy after he started playing again is the reason why he isn't playing. Make everything he does no matter how small, insignificant, or otherwise common place is now front page headline news with 24 hour coverage tearing him apart.

Hardy got a raw deal in all of this and it's sad no team is willing to take a flier on a guy with elite talent.

Nothing else?  Question-Do you think one of seven children of a police detective and investigator with the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission, with no criminal record, who attended a Memphis area Christian High School, the University of Mississippi, and a 2013 NFL 2nd Team All-Pro with the Carolina Panthers, would be #93 on a 2016 list of the NFL's most important people without the Ray Rice video and media?  http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2016/06/27/nfls-100-most-important-people/86423006/

Never said Rice didn't impact Hardy...but that is irrelevant to the conversation of why he is a FA now. Gotta start looking at the reality of it all and the chance he was given to come back into a league that welcomes everyone back.

Ray Rice would have a deal right now if he was a good QB/DE....he doesn't because he is an old RB.

No team will take a flier on Hardy because of the way Hardy has presented himself POST incident.  Not because of the incident.   Hardy is a victim at this point, because of himself.

If Greg Hardy didn't act like a douche in court and in the press...then went to Dallas and said little in the media and just played football with being a distraction??? He would have a multi year deal right now.  But he didn't.

NFL will always give people a shot at redemption if you can play....Hardy handled his re-entrance once his initial suspension was dealt as poorly as possible.

Again, yes, Hardy got a stiffer initial punishment than anyone prior and that largely came from the Rice video outrage.

so?

You could argue the league might of finally corrected itself after years and being to easy on guys and too public reaction to force their hand.

again, that simply is what it is.  You have to now start with his redemption attemtpt post incident.

Vick gave the blueprint.  Even Rice followed it, the only issue for Rice is he was an old RB.  Hardy opted for the full retard approach....that is a Hardy issue.

What is full retard?  What did Hardy Jr say or do that hasn't been said or done tenfold by (among others) Mike Ditka that made him a Super Bowl Champion, legend, loved, hated, a HOFer, and gainfully employed by "liberal" ESPN?

None of us were there but I've seen a woman go batsh*t and at that point there are police officers who would bruise such a person having to restrain or protect themselves from such an individual.

Some of you and pretty much all the feminist leaning media seem to think a woman attacking a man couldn't do damage. They also give women a pass on deviousness and cunning.

The NBA and media says Charlotte hates certain people and passes laws to hate on them so they "make an example" of Charlotte and pull the game. Is that the Charlotte that people that live here know? No! That's why when his teammates and head coach vouched for him that should have been the end of it because THEY know Greg Hardy Jr.

Instead ownership goes all P.C. to please the media who are intent on roasting your region in general for their long standing perception of "Southern" values. Look at the bullsh*t the NBA just pulled!?! They don't live here. They don't KNOW Charlotte or NC for that matter! We do!

Treat others as you would like to be treated Charlotte. Give a guy a job
