First play against Denver, game one, national tv, Denver just gets their rings, Joe Webb in at QB, Cam lined up out wide, Von Miller spots it and goes to cover Cam, the ball is hiked, Cam stiff arms Miller to the ground, Webb hits Cam for an 80 yard TD, Cam unveils new dance moves that will sweep the globe, young ladies will discover things, old ladies will rediscover things, Tennessee mom will write a letter.

Webb is best utilized on special teams and doing "fade away jumpers" when Cam scores a touchdown.

this 2010 bears/panthers games was one of the worst games ive ever witnessed, and the carolina offensive line was getting manhandled.

I just never understand fans.. they have a favorite player who is good enough to make the team, but can't understand that if Webb was so good ,, he'd be on the field as a wide receiver, running back, quarterback.  But he's not.  Our wide receivers last season were considered less  than average ( cam was the elevator for them ) ..  and he couldn't make it as a WR..  we had running back concerns at the end of the season with JStew,,  he was not good enough to get any snaps..   If we go down two QB's  and he has to come in ,, then he will, but you can bet the front office will be calling Vinny  again lol.

He's a good  special team player.

We tried it in the playoffs and it failed horribly. Not saying it wouldn't work sometimes but don't look forward to this often

Just using this opportunity to say how much I love have Webb on the team. How many other 3rd string QB's are being talked about in a positive way around the league?  I love that he not only gets involved on special teams, but does so with passion.

that would be an awesome midget league scheme too ,if only the qb had the arm strength to throw the football past the linebackers...just saying

Understood. But I guess what I am saying is that the defense is respecting  Cams run  threat already. They are going to know something is up if Webb is in the game. And he's not nearly as effective at what he does.

I think he was talking about removing Philly or Dickson, not Cam. Although, if Cam is in, Webb can't throw upfield, so I too do not see the point.
