Must be embarrassing for the vet getting paid the big bucks to get outplayed by a rookie 7th rounder, and it wasn't even close. Captain played aggressively and was flying around. Gamble pretty much seemed content to float around in the zone and then take the easy tackle after the catch had already been made for the first down.

If I were him I would be humiliated. That is, if he were capable of emotion to begin with.

Munnerlyn looked fine in his part. It has been said already though, he was working on their 3rd receiver. Which is usually going to be the 4th target since they use Gonzalez so much. To compare Munnerlyn's assignment to Gambles is foolish. A lot of people think Roddy White is going to have a breakout year, and to hold him under 10 yards per catch isn't bad.

The Colts didn't have a particularly good defense under Meeks either. The scheme does indeed suck. But he's conservative, which is important to us apparently. One INT on a ball Ryan forced. That's what the scheme counts on.

Contrast with the Jets under Rex Ryan. That was something. A guy in Brady's face every play despite a very good Patriot O-line.

I think the variations in the scheme have f*cked him up. He's not even getting plays on the ball like he was before b/c I think he was used to playing man. This Cover 2 is looking more like swiss cheese, all the guys are confused as to whom has responsibility in a certain area.

i dont understand how are they playing a tampa 2 with the corners 10 yards off,instead of bumping on the line......gamble did not play good yesterday,but the dl didnt help them at all.......with that being said when your in a zone you suppose to break on the ball by watching the qb.some passes i seen yesterday could have been picked but we had no one in position at the times.playing off 10 yards in the goal line is the dumbest poo i have ever seen!godfrey is terrrible at fs too!

Exactly. I thought Tampa 2 was all about being physical with the receivers. Especially in goal-to-go situations. Why are we playing back with such short fields? That is the time to bump the receiver outside off his route and cover the middle of the field.
