Is the cupboard bare for the next regime?

Add to that Pep being gone. Jake possibly let go as well with a softer cap blow.

No depth on the D line as surely Kemo will be gone.

Inept DB's. Not one but two kickers.

Will there be much to work with for the next Front Office?

Hurney/Fox threw Pep and Jake some bones. The loss to Arizona has crushed them more than they want to admit.

I haven't relooked at the cap but with the possible uncapped year it could be a managled mess.

I don't think the guys will quit but the sleep walking through preseason and then the we will fix it now mentality is telling. They all know this was the last year minus a Super Bowl. Not being able to grab some top notch FA's handcuffed them.

The draft class this year shows a lot of promise and there are a good number of young players who show substantial ability. I think the next regime for the Panthers has plenty to build off of unless it is a complete change in player personel a la Tampa Bay.

I really think that the talent of the team is fine its the coaches and schemes that we run that need a facelift. If there is a new regime, as long as they install a good gameplan and utilize the talents of our premier players I think we will be fine. The main goal will be to improve depth in the secondary and dline and on offense find a #2 reciever and find a QB for the future.

That would be epic. Heck just bring in lebeau as the HC. But I guess if he wanted to be a HC he would already be one. But this would never happen with Cowher bringing him in as DC unless the steelers are stupid and fire him. Otherwise he can't if hes under contract. Not to mention he would be stupid to leave a defense stack with talent to come to team that he has to convert over to the 3-4. No I'm hoping Monte Kiffin gets tired of college.

I'm not giving up on the team. There WILL be a regime change unless the guys get super hot and at least go to the NFC champ game.

I think 9-7 is possible but they better start next week vs Dallas.
