[Still Brooklyn]

The lady wanted to see Ghostbusters Monday. We decided to check out the new 4DX theater. Not only was the movie lame, but the theater experience was pathetic. When your city gets it, save your cash.

It basically feels like watching a movie while you sit in the back of a pick-up truck. When smashing, violent movements happen on screen, your seat rumbles and vibrates. Then it shifts, juts, veers like crazy. I'm shocked people don't hurt their necks. And the movement barely matches the action on screen. They have nozzles on front of you to shoot fog and mist at you but I think they were broke. On the sides they have giant fans to match wind ... which I liked, and flashing lights to help with lightning, etc. That wasn't half bad. But overall it was a huge, huge letdown.
