Bill Cowher could be at the helm of the Panthers.

Too bad Terry Bradshaw is a moron and has no clue what he's talking about.

Terry likes being Under rated

Cowboys linebacker Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson famously ridiculed Bradshaw by saying, "He couldn't spell 'Cat' if you spotted him the 'c' and the 'a'." Bradshaw got his revenge by winning the Most Valuable Player award, completing 17 of 30 passes for a then-record 318 yards and four touchdowns in a 35-31 win. Years later, Henderson, who struggled for years to conquer drug addiction, admitted he was high on cocaine at the time of the interview.

Bradshaw plays the dump country hick roll well.

But the man has done well

As a fan of the Bears I have been through more than my fair share of the "he doesn't have da fire and da passion" garbage post-Ditka.

With Wanny, Jauron, and now with Lovie.

Some can't get over the fact that spittle flying from lips does not a great head coach make.

It comes down to personnel, and right now I think it is not an issue of play calling but rather a lack of execution with the Panthers.

Jake is on the downside, and Smith (a guy that I have long admired and wished all WRs in this league would more closely resemble) is no longer dominant. Still great, but not dominant.

Teams can key on your running game, and make enough big plays against a defense that is good but not great to beat your team.

Will a new coach, a new voice, make the difference?

Maybe, but I doubt it.

Mike Singletary's recent success has not helped the cause in eliminating the meatball attitude, but I think if you consider the fact he had nowhere to go but up with that team, and the fact that the season is still young, we can say that he is likely an exception, and not the rule.

I prefer my front office/GM/scouts to draft well, my head coach to remain calm, and my coordinators to do their homework, and not rely on some firebrand to make me feel like my team is "manly".

Just win.
