I'm not disagreeing with you that we've had our fair share of busts at the WR position, but except the years Moose was in Chi-town we had a very capable duo of receivers.

It wouldn't have mattered. Just like if we had drafted Joe Flacco in 2008, we don't have the personnel to develop these guys into starters.

Exactly, he would have not seen the field with Fox coaching, even if we didnt already have a starter.

I don't know about you, but if I was having a jump ball situation in the end zone to save the game, I'd have expected the slow but tall receiver to be the jumper allowing the shorter, but quicker (and more driven to win) receiver out there to catch the tip ball.

Jarrett has a place on this team -- as the highest paid player on the practice squad.

Yanno, I'm not even really sure what Jarrett's problem is. It just seems like he doesn't try that hard.

Jarrett will go to another team and produce. We just don't have a QB that throws to any WR's other than Smith/Moose. You guys can hate on him, but he hasn't got the chances that he needs. Colbert got a million chances, throws to him, etc. Jarrett not so much, it's really still early, however as long as you have Jake you won't see Jarrett develope.

I'm still more annoyed at picking Eric Shelton with the 54th pick in the 2005 draft instead of Brandon Jacobs (who NY picked at 110).
