Saints are making a push that's super strong to sign Boldin

If boldin was still good he would be signed by now. Team's probably brought him in to check him out and he did not look good. He probably is as good as Roddy White is as this point of his career.

Anquan Boldin is :

1. Definitely better than Roddy White

2. A graduate of the Michael Irvin whip a DB ass to get the ball University.

3. Probably the only WR in the NFL who could fight Steve Smith and win. 

4. One of the only WR in the NFL that even when he's covered he's open.

We're in damn good shape. The Taints are also the oldest team.

Building was good but he is going to be 36 in October. That might be fine for a quarterback but pretty old for a receiver. Especially one whose fastest 40 was a 4.7 15 years ago. This a short term rental to try and make one more push for a winning season to save Payton's bacon. Hardly a big time move or something we should be worried about.

I wanted us to sign Boldin when the Cards released him, but now we're building our core. He would be a good pickup for the saints.

I've always been a big fan of boldin since he got his jaw broke and came back in a crazy short amount of time. Its a shame he wasn't available last year. He would have thrived when kb went down. (Just look at all the money he made flacco by catching everything thrown his way).

Unfortunately I don't think the panthers have room for another possession type receiver this year. I'm a firm believer that you need a mix of speedy receivers and more possession receivers or else you end up with a stale offense like in 2014.

Before this year I would have been stoked to see boldin in a panther uniform but now I'm afraid he would just take reps from kb and funchess while pushing one of the younger guys off the roster.
