The Carolina Panthers did NOT make the 25 worst collapses in sports history.

someone watches too much baseball. How about the US beating Russia in hockey? a damn movie was made about that one, but it's not even in the top ten?

then there's the opposite, when the ussr beat the US in basketball in 92 with David Robinson. that game forced the olympics to allow pro athletes into the games, but I guess a game that changes policy isn't worthy of top 10?

I don't know how you don't include the Warriors from just a month ago. 3-1 in the finals? how often does that happen? seems like another lazy article from ESPN.

A collapse is a team clutching defeat from the jaws of victory. What you've described is an upset.

the Warriors losing after being up 3-1 is a collapse, biggest one I've witnessed in a while. the Olympic examples are a collapse of team history. US basketball was untouchable, and their loss to USSR in 88, not 92, was definitely considered a collapse of the program.

There were some factors in that series that helped Cleveland win.  Draymond getting suspended for Game 5, which allowed Kyrie and LePasstheballintheclutch 40 points a piece.  And also Bogut got hurt as well.

and the Warriors played like they already won, while the Cavs wanted to win. Warriors didn't show up.

Draymond "The Nutcracker" Green played in Game 3 in which the Cavs beat the Warriors by 30 points so this notion that the Warriors would've won if he was available for Game 5 is ridiculous. If Draymond "The Nutcracker" Green didn't have a nut fetish, he wouldn't have been suspended.

Also, if we're being honest, the Warriors shouldn't even have won the title last year. It took them six games to beat ONE MAN. ALL HAIL THE KING! Curry is a fraud and he got exposed. He can't even win a Finals MVP trophy.

I think the Warriors more played like poo as well.  Besides Green, you could argue if Green played Game 5 the Warriors would've finished the series.
