Training Camp Coverage...

Coming together like a fine orchestra.  The crescendo is the culmination of all pieces blending like a full symphony performing the William Tell Overture at its finest.  Then as the last note is played they start tuning for the next movement.  On game one each player masterfully performs his notes propelling the entire squad into a winning ensemble.

Last year wasn't all rainbows and smiles and it turned out pretty decent.  I want to know about any on-the-field animosity and grumbling.  Iron makes iron sharper.  Be on the lookout for competition both within position groups and offense vs. defense.  Nothing wrong with some alphas snarling at each other plus, I want to know who wants it down deep.

Looking forward to

1. Draft pick performance: love hearing and seeing progress. Particularly the mid late round guys

2. 2nd string RB battle

3. First overreaction threads to someone's poor performance  

4  First overreaction thread because national media isn't respecting the Panthers

So much to be excited and look for. I wanna see what the RBs behind Stew look like. WR battle. Will Tre Boston step it up? How is Bene'? I've already got two trips to training camp scheduled. One by myself and one with the kiddos.

I enjoy the updates on players that stand out for either positive or negative reasons. I don't really think there is one thing I particularly don't like. I would like to have more insider info given if possible. Feedback from coaches on certain players, what things certain players feel are strong for the team and what needs work, which positions are really making it difficult to decide cuts, what players are really pushing for playing time this year, what positions could be looked at tweaking or adding to before the season starts, which players coaches feel don't get enough attention, maybe players that could surprise according to what they do behind closed doors, what kind of personalities are on the team, maybe things we would be surprised to learn about some of the players, maybe some of the things that the players try to do to build team chemistry that no one reads about, things like that.

Most interested in Bradberry and Worley, in addition to how Bene moves. But after watching the opening match against the Jaguars from last season some days ago, I am also interested in the focus on creating turnovers. Josh's punch to create the fumble in that game was right out of Peanuts playbook. I really hope that Bene, Coleman and Tre continue to use what they learnt from Peanut last year with regard to creating fumbles, and use this knowledge to teach the new guys. Josh really used the Peanut punch multiple times last season from what I remember, and I just hope others can pick it up from where he left...

An other observation too from that game btw; Shaq really played a good amount of snaps in that game, especially in the first half before Kuechly went out. I had completely forgotten this, so was a surprise to me..

I'd like to see a feature on a few of your favorite eateries and watering holes in Shartanburg. The Beacon is obvious. I normally head down the road a few more miles and grab lunch at California Dreaming. The California Dreaming salad will make you slap your mom it's so good.
